About Black Swan First Aid

Black Swan First Aid Training is a West Australian business operating from the western suburbs of Perth. All training courses are conducted by facilitators with experience in providing emergency medical care as ambulance paramedics. As such, all of our courses are delivered by people with first-hand experience of what to do in an emergency and sound knowledge of pre-hospital medicine.

Our business is a small, Perth based organisation. This posits us to best understand the needs of individuals and organisations within Perth. On-site training can be arranged for groups and care is taken to ensure that course content is tailored to the needs of the group and setting. We offer a flexible and comprehensive service that strives to ensure customer satisfaction. Our Story

The founder of Black Swan First Aid Training, Siobhan McNabb, has over seven years experience as an ambulance paramedic with St John Ambulance. Siobhan also worked as a regional trainer and regional training co-ordinator, spending several years involved in training volunteer ambulance officers throughout Western Australia. She has completed two bachelor of science degrees, in paramedical science and an honours degree in psychology.

Siobhan spent time conducting first aid training for various businesses before realising the need for a boutique-style first aid & pre-hospital medical training service within Perth. Following her passions for healthcare, teaching and personal development, Siobhan focuses on optimising her courses and tailoring their delivery to meet the needs of a wide range of discerning clientele.
